There are two ways. Far and away the easiest is to ask your MB dealer to do it. Several members have invented a Bluetooth problem and asked their dealer to do it under warranty. I don't know how long your warranty lasts, but that may no longer be an option. Alternatively, you can buy the update CD second hand. Apparently it can take a couple of hours during which time the ignition has to be on. Some people have attempted to do this with pirated disks and ended up bricking their COMAND.

W204 NTG4 Comand software update (not maps,only software)? Hellou, can anybody help me how to do a software update (only from software-firmware, not from the maps) on a NTG4 W204 Comand system (2008year)? I have Star C4 whit DAS, and in DAS I have w204 develouper mode. Can anybody help me to update the comand software to the latest software.
